Frederick A. Turrittin, 82, of Cecil Wisconsin, found peace on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, following a brief illness. He was born June 17, 1939, in Milwaukee to the late Lloyd and Margaret (Priebe) Turrittin. Fred was a 1957 graduate of Custer High School in Milwaukee. He married Judith Glime on April 20, 1968, in Milwaukee.

Fred was a service technician for Canteen Vending for his whole working career retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and Ducks Unlimited. Fred enjoyed hunting, especially deer hunting, or anything that gave him a reason to be in the woods. He and Judy spent many days volunteering at the Red River Rider Equestrian Therapy Center in Shawano, assisting with the care of the horses and therapy rides. They also enjoyed adventures searching for just the right antique or valuable piece that they could claim and resell at some of the annual flea markets they attended. He was also a longtime, active member of Faith United Lutheran Church in Gillett. Over the last number of years Fred spent time with Judy every day, sitting with her, eating with her, and staying at her side.

Fred is survived by his wife Judy, Bonduel; their two daughters, Dawn (Larry) Fleuchaus, Franklin and Claudine (Matt Horswill) Turrittin, West Allis; one granddaughter, Brooklyn Fleuchaus; three sister-in-law, Dorothy Turrittin, Menominee Falls; Darlene Brunette, Green Bay and Carol (Tim) Limberg, Wausaukee; nieces and nephews: Susan (Earl); Robert; Debbie (Al); Bonnie; Doug and Cheri (Tim).

He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Turrittin and Gordon Turrittin as well as a nephew, Mark Turrittin.

Friends may call at Faith United Lutheran Church, 11465 Old U Rd., Gillett, on Saturday, December 11, from 10:30 am until the time of service at 12;00 pm. Memorial Service at 12:00 noon with Rev.
