Geraldine “Geri” Heim
Geraldine M. “Geri” Heim, 91, Howard, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021. She was born in Green Bay on July 1, 1930, to the late Joseph and Leona Peerenboom Allard. On Aug. 18, 1951, Geri married the love of her life, Orville Heim, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Together they enjoyed wintering in Florida. Their strong faith led them to be a very active members of St. Mary of the Angels Parish in their early years before joining St. John the Baptist Parish more recently. Geri will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and for taking in anyone that had fallen on tough times or needed a place stay.
Geraldine will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Orville; children, Chris O’Brien, Kate (Jim) Graves, Mari Wuest, Lori (Mike) Granberg, Bunny (Taj) Jordan, John (Judy) Heim, Micki Heim (Steve Peters), “Candy” Renee (Ted) Archdale and Sheryl (Rick) Ledvina; 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; brother, Duaine Allard; and many other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Geraldine is preceded in death by many siblings, step siblings, and two sons-in-law, Tim O’Brien and Bill Wuest.
Visitation will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, with Rev. James Lucas officiating the Funeral Mass at noon.
