John Berns, Jr.
John M. Berns, Jr., 64, Green Bay resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2024. He was born on February 25, 1959, in Green Bay to the late John, Sr. and Marcia (Melendy) Berns. John graduated from Pulaski High School with the class of 1978. He was an Avid Packers fan. John enjoyed watching movies and especially enjoyed listening to the classic comedians of his time. He liked to play ping pong and you could say he was the biggest Beatles fan around. John was always quick to crack a joke and would do anything to make you smile.
He is survived by his son, Landon Berns-Wise; Landon’s mother, Donna Wise; siblings, Patricia Herzog, Barbara (Ersel) Lambert, Robert (Debra) Berns, Margaret Noe and Julie (Greg) Wilinski; brother-in-law, Ted Eul; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Eul; and brother-in-law, Barry Noe.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial service 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the funeral home with Rev. Philip Dihn-Van-Thiep officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
