Judith “Judy” (Klika) Sustman, 88, won the ultimate jackpot on Saturday, March 9th, 2024, passing on to heaven and rejoining her beloved husband.  She was born October 20, 1935, to Harold “Whitey” and Audrey (Zentmeyer) Klika.  Judy graduated in 1954 from St. Joseph Academy.  On April 12, 1958, she married John “Big John” Sustman at St. Willebrord Catholic Church.  Cathedral, her childhood parish, was under construction at the time.  Judy worked for the Green Bay Press Gazette for a short time before joining the Channel 11 staff as a receptionist, a job she thoroughly enjoyed.  After retirement, she and John wintered in Florida for many years.  John preceded her in death on August 6, 2011.

Judy loved times spent at the family cottage in Beaver.  She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, as well as trips to the bingo hall and the casino.  She was always dressed beautifully with manicured nails, a perfect shade of lipstick and something sparkly to accent her outfit.  Her big personality will be missed.

She is survived by three children, Steven Sustman of Florida, Scot (Barb Sikowski) Sustman of Beaver, and Andrea (David) Danelski of Green Bay; her grandchildren, Alexis (Jeff) Bushman, Kelsey (Jeff) Dawson, Savannah (Stephen) Johnson, Ashley Sustman, Branden Sustman, Ryan (Rachel) Sustman, Arielle Sustman, Tyler (Taylor) Schumell and Allison (Daniel Webster) Schumell; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary DesJardins; brothers-in-law, Jim Sustman, Bernard (Donna) Sustman and Dick (Chris) Sustman; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Cody Sustman; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gary DesJardins, Joan and Don Miller and Evie Sustman; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Andy and Til Sustman.

Visitation will be held form 9:30 to 10:50 a.m. on Friday, March 22nd at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 22nd at the church with Rev.
