Kathryn “Kathi” (Heintzkill) Peot, 72, Green Bay, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.  Kathi was born on July 5, 1949, in Green Bay to the late Bob and Pat (Wenzel) Heintzkill. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in Green Bay with the class of 1967. On November 28, 1970, she married Mike Peot at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.

While raising a family, Kathi worked part-time in the healthcare industry.  As the kids got older, she graduated from NWTC with a degree in Accounting. Kathi was proud of her career working for Bay Area Foot Clinic, United Healthcare, and most recently Informed Choice of Green Bay.  Through her work, she enjoyed talking to clients and patients and forming friendships with her co-workers. She was known for being friendly, welcoming, and always having fun.

Family and friends were very important to her, and she loved spending time with them, especially the special “dates” she’d plan with each of her grandchildren and being involved in all of their activities.

Kathi will be deeply missed by her husband of 51 years, Mike Peot; her children and grandchildren: Brian Peot, Ethan, Ellasen, Max and their mom Stephanie; Kristen (Tom) Buchmann, Ben, Lauren and Megan and Ann (Jeremy) Moeller, Lillian and Lucas; siblings: Deb (Rick) VandenHeuvel; Tom (Mary) Heintzkill and Steven (Debbie) Heintzkill; In-Laws: Peter Peot; Mary (Kevin) Heuvelmans; Sue (Doug) Fox; Amy (Sean) Jones and Becky (Lee) Kvaley; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Kathi was preceded in death by her in-law’s, Peter and Betty Peot; nephew Mike VandenHeuvel; sister-in-law, Bunny Peot; niece, Tara Safford and great-niece, Dalilah

A Celebration of Life will be held for Kathi on Sunday, June 5, from 12:00-3:00 pm at the Ashwaubenon Community Center.  Details can be found on the Facebook event, “Celebration of Life for Kathi Peot”.
