Lillian Klarkowski

Mrs. Daniel (Lillian) Klarkowski, 101, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.  She was born June 4, 1922, in the Town of Eaton, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Stodola) Cherney.  She married Daniel Klarkowski on April 27, 1946, at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Poland, Wisconsin.  They celebrated 62 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on March 16, 2009.

Lillian “Toots” was an active member at SS Cyril & Methodius Parish, Poland and St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Sugarbush. She enjoyed music and dancing and was a follower of the Gene Heier Orchestra. Toots’ hobbies included upholstery projects and gardening, especially flowers.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by her four children and families:

Robert Klarkowski, Las Vegas, Nevada; Carol (David, deceased) Bell, Elm Grove; Glenn (Shona) Klarkowski, De Pere and Rodney (special friend, Theresa Nesvacil) Klarkowski, Green Bay.  She is survived by her five grandchildren: Michelle Klarkowski, (special friend, Todd Hanrahan) De Pere; Brandie Klarkowski (special friend, Will Johnson) Green Bay; Kathryn (Jon Falk) Bell, Milwaukee; Kyle (Natalie) Klarkowski, Green Bay and Lindsay Klarkowski, Green Bay; five great grandchildren: Braydon Skenandore, Jerimiah Webster (special friend, Shannon Rupar), Ashlyn Webster, Adyson Webster and Jordyn Johnson; and one great-great grandchild, Tori Lillian Webster; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Besides her husband Dan, and her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her three sisters: Anna (Wencil) Cherney; Theresa (Emil) Klarkowski and Elizabeth (Earl) Orphal; three brothers: Martin (Johanna) Cherney; Thomas (Ellen) Cherney and William (Shirley) Cherney; son-in-law, David Bell.

Friends may call at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 5930 Humboldt Road, on Thursday, February 22, from 9:30-10:45 am.  Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am Thursday at the church with Rev.
