Margaret Gerondale
Margaret I. “Mickey” Gerondale, 74, of Crooked Lake, died unexpectedly Sunday January 7, 2024, at her home. She was born January 1, 1950, in Suamico, to the late William “Bud” and Doris (Stutleen) Campshure.
Mickey married Thomas “Tom” Gerondale, Sr. on March 31, 1966, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Suamico. While she raised her kids, she worked from her home with her own seamstress business. Her and Tom together began Gerondale Heating and Cooling. Mickey also worked at Nicolet Paper and later as a home health caretaker. She loved being “up north” at her home at Crooked Lake and being part of the community and making many lifelong friends.
Mickey is survived by her children, Patricia “Patty” Gerondale (Dave), Thomas (Chris) Gerondale, Jr., Carisa Gerondale, and Heather Gerondale; her grandchildren, Ryan Riha, Cody Champine, Tony (Maria) Wall, Kayla (Percy) Lewis, Serena Thompson, Preston Thompson, Jaeden Thompson, and Travis Gerondale; her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Levi, Anakin, Easton, Greyson, Kannon, Baby Lewis, Luca, Lailah, Keelan, Stella, Sofia, and Aubree; a sister, Kathy (Dave) Heider; brothers, William “Billy” Campshure, Jr., Louie Campshure, and James Campshure; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jared; two sisters, Patrica and Virginia, and a brother, Kenneth.
Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Friday, January 12th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Parish Wake will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call at the funeral home on Saturday, January 13th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
