Margaret Ann Stovic, 92, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. She was born on April 8, 1931, in Milwaukee to the late Fred and Anita (Zickert) Hollenbeck. Margaret was a 1949 graduate of Watertown High School. She then attended nursing school and obtained her degree to become a Registered Nurse in 1953. On July 31, 1954, she married Ralph Stovic in Watertown, WI. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2006.
Margaret worked as a Registered Nurse at Bellin Hospital until her retirement in 1965. Following retirement, she volunteered at Bellin Hospital, assisted with meals on wheels and volunteered at the Brown County Library.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane (Tom Bednarek) Stovic and granddaughter, Erin Bednarek; niece, Lori Taylor; nephew, James (Sandi) Taylor; great nieces and nephews; Ian (Jamie) Taylor; Emelia; Kyel; Kooper; Rachel (Sep) Alwin and Maeve Margaret; special friends, Tom Wenck and Dave and Barb Tenpas.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty (James) Taylor; brother-in-law, Marvin (Gladys) Stojakovic; sisters-in-law, Frances (Irv) Samuelson and Arlene (Roy) Werner.
Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St on Thursday, January 25, from 9:30-11:00 am. Funeral service 11:00 am Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Schulze officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Watertown.
