Marge Kaster

Margaret M. “Marge” Kaster  of Green Bay passed peacefully on April 21, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital after an unexpected and brief illness.

She was born February 6, 1947, in Green Bay and raised by her grandparents Alphonse and Aileen Kaster. Marge graduated from Preble High School in 1965 and received an Asssociate Degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. She worked many years at Bellin Health, Helping Hands Caregivers and Aspiro as a home health aide and providing respite care services to many patients and families in the Green Bay area.

Marge was proud of her 26 years of sobriety and actively participated in Alcoholics Anonymous including serving as a sponsor for others. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Marge was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed traveling, reading, cards and board games, embroidery, needlepoint, country music and her cat Blacky.

Marge will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Survivors include sisters: Jo Anne Krieger (Bob Woodford) of St. Paul, MN; Valery Brussat (Gary) of West Bend; brothers: Dean (Julie) Kaster of North Charleston, SC; Clayton Kaster of DeBary, FL; Blase Peksa (Lorie) of West Bend; and sister-in-law Joan Arves of Green Bay; and many nieces and nephews.

Marge was preceded in death by her mother, Cleo Peksa; brothers: Cletus Kaster and Chaney Arves; and sister, Susan Terrien (DuChateau).

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 2nd at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 2nd at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.  To leave an online condolence visit www.prokowall.com.
