Marie Amelia Tills entered heaven from Bellin Hospital on Thursday, September 1, 2022, after a short battle with cancer.  She was born on February 17, 1946 and left the earth at the age of 76.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Ada Fritz; her sister, Jean; and grandson, Delton Tills IV.  She is mourned by her husband, Delton Jr; sister, Jane Hanna and her husband Charles; her sons, Delton III and William Tills, their families; and many other relatives and friends.

Marie was a graduate of Solomon Juneau High School in Milwaukee.  She raised her family in a small cottage on Lake Keesus, just outside of Milwaukee.  The family spent many lazy Sunday afternoons on a pontoon boat drifting on the lake.  One of her favorite jobs was working as a receptionist / nurse for Dr. Gupta.  She loved the job because she was allowed to help the doctor treat many of his patients.  Marie loved her family and did everything she could to see that her sons would grow up to be fine young men. She never missed a single wrestling match, cross country race, or Show Choir presentation at Arrowhead high school.  She was a loving mother and devoted wife.   After her sons left home, she moved to Green Bay with her husband.  She held a number of part time jobs there.  Her favorite was as a clerk for the Green Bay Packer Pro Shop.  She loved meeting some of the players, their wives, and all the rabid Packer fans.  She was a long-time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.  She is most assuredly in Jesus arms surrounded by her parents, sister, and grandson Delton IV.  She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 514 Clay St., from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.  Memorial service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the church with Pastor Jon Zabel officiating.
