Mary Kay Simons, 80, Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, after a short illness.  She was born on April 7, 1942, in Green Bay to the late Justin and Agnes (Vincent) Steeno.  Mary Kay graduated from East High School with the class of 1960.  As a child she loved ice skating and hanging out with her cousin, Linda.  On May 1, 1965, she married the love of her life, the late Robert J. Simons and they took many trips together.  Mom would always drive so Dad could see the sights.  She worked for the Green Bay public schools, first as a librarian and then as a secretary at Edison Middle School, retiring in 1992.  Mary Kay loved to plant flowers, take care of her yard and everything about Christmas.  What she loved most though, was spending time with her grandchildren.  They meant the world to her.

She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie (Chip) Hendry and Connie (Jeff) Tillmann; three grandchildren, Landon Tillmann, Morgan Tillmann and Samantha Hendry; sister-in-law, Lynn (Dale) Ducat; brothers-in law, Dick Simons, Gary Simons and Dan Hasseler; cousin, Linda (Bob) Ferguson; Goddaughter, Wendy (Keith) Kroening and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Waiting for her in heaven are her husband, Robert; sister, Nancy (Bob) Van Campenhout; sisters-in-law, Sandy Simons and Sally Hasseler; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roman and Luella Simons; and nieces, Lynn Chambers and Vicky Delfeld.

Visitation will be held at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
