Nancy Martha Marleen Orquist, 79, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 in Manitowoc, WI. She was born in Negaunee City, MI on August 31, 1943 to Hjalmer and Martha (Herrala) Orquist.
Nancy graduated from Jeffers High School in Painesdale, MI. She moved to Green Bay, WI shortly afterwards and worked for A.C. Nielsen Company for many years. She loved spending her time traveling, working on jigsaw puzzles, attending church services at St. Paul Lutheran Church, and being with her friends and family.
Nancy is survived by her sister, Joyce Reed; niece, Kelly (Andy) Bottoni and their 2 children, Dominick and Katherine; along with additional nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Norma Hakala, brothers-in-law, Leonard Reed and Howard Hakala.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Kelly and Andy extend their sincere gratitude to the caring staff at both Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center as well as Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
