Norma Butler

InNorma Loraine (Anderson) Butler, 93, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 10, 2021, with her family by her side.  Norma was born on Feb. 3, 1928, in Dayton, IA, to the late Charles and Esther (Lind) Anderson.  She married the love of her life, Jerome J. Butler, on June 17, 1950, in Vulcan, MI.  He preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 2013. 

Norma was an active member of St. Agnes Parish.  Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was spunky and independent, still hosting holiday and family gatherings in her home.  Norma loved traveling, golfing, playing bridge and attending Packers games.  She and Jerome enjoyed summers at their cottage in Michigan.  You could always find her with a Manhattan in her hand at 5:00 p.m.

Norma will be deeply missed by her children, Christine Dunbar, Rebecca (Craig) Filiatreaux and Paul (Karen) Butler and Pamela Butler (Scott Moegenburg); grandchildren, Nicholas Dunbar, Joel Butler (Mollie Boutelle), Emily Filiatreaux (Michael Fallon), Reid (Addison) Filiatreaux, Max Ausloos and Sam Ausloos (Ciara Stephenson); great grandchildren, Jacques, Lucie, Max, Tucker, Vince, Murphy, Leonard, River and Walter; and many other family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Norma is preceded in death by her son, Jerry Butler, and a daughter-in-law, Mary.

Visitation will be at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, with Rev. Patrick Beno officiating the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Please wear masks and practice social distancing.  Inurnment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.Prokowall.com.
