Patrick J. Berceau, 86, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at his home with family on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, after courageously and quietly battling cancer.  Patrick’s faith was the source of his strength through this very difficult year.  He was born in Green Bay to the late Timothy and Minolia (Carey) Berceau.  Pat was a graduate of Catholic Central High School.  After graduation, Pat enlisted with the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korean War.  On April 19, 1958, he married Kathleen Bisick at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church.  Pat retired from Hudson Sharp after over 30 years of employment.  He continued to work for them independently after retirement doing side jobs in his shop at home.  Pat was a season ticket holder for the Packers and if he couldn’t make it to Lambeau Field he was not to be disturbed while watching the game at home.   He and Katie both cherished times spent with family and friends.  Family cookouts and their grandchildren’s sporting events were favorites.  He loved studying history and reading and enjoyed time fishing out on Lily Lake.  Pat was a devoted husband, loving father and adored by all who knew him.  His quick wit and cheerful attitude will not be forgotten.

Pat will be deeply missed by his wife, Katie; 2 children, Joe (Lisa) Berceau and Cindy (Scott) Watzka; 5 grandchildren, CJ (Emily) and Jared Berceau, and Evan, Noal and Garett Watzka; 2 great grandchildren, Odessa and Keira Berceau; siblings, Pete (Theresa) Berceau, Kate (Bill) Bowman, Susie (Chuck) O’Connor, Margie Schiebel and Lois Servais; sister-in-law, Jackie Berceau; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Pat is preceded in death by his siblings, Tom Berceau, Lyle (Marie) Zenz, Darrell (Toni) Berceau, George Zenz, Claude (Susan) Berceau, Betty (Bob) Lefebvre, Doris (Russ) Cotts, Mary (Jay) Shipla, Janet Berceau, and Jimmy “Zeke” Zenz; brother-in-law, Glenn Schiebel.

Visitation will be at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 650 S. Irwin Ave., from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2020, with Rev. Finian Zaucha OFM officiating the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.Prokowall.com.
