Richard R. “Dick” Staniak

Richard R. “Dick” Staniak, 74, died Saturday, November 6, 2021. He was born January 22, 1947, in Green Bay to Edward and Marjorie (Anderson) Staniak.

Dick was a graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School, Class of 1966. After graduating he enlisted into the U.S Air Force and served from 1966 to 1970 and was stationed in Germany. On August 9, 1986, Dick married Maureen K. Weber in Allouez. For 29 years, Dick worked as a machine operator for Georgia Pacific. He loved sports and enjoyed watching Badgers basketball games, going to basketball games at Preble High School, and going to Brewers and Cubs games with his family. Dick liked to spend his free time golfing.

Dick is survived by his wife, Maureen; his son, Tony Staniak (fiancé Mandi Hamel); grandchildren, Ryan Staniak, Drew Staniak, Christina Staniak, and Christopher Hamel; a sister-in-law, Carole Staniak; and many, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; half-brothers, Allen Staniak and Robin (Karen) Jorgenson; sisters, Beverly (Joseph) Laes and Geraldine Feldhausen.
