Robert Derpinghaus
Robert “Pat” James Derpinghaus, 82, passed away at home on Monday, December 4, 2023. He was born on September 22, 1941, to the late Frank and Irene Derpinghaus in Green Bay.
Pat proudly served his country from 1960 -1964 with the United States Navy. He graduated from NWTC with an associate degree in marketing following his service time. On August 25, 1978, Robert married Carol Rentmeester in Green Bay. Pat worked for Best Buy as a Service Technician for 25 years until his retirement 12 years ago. He was a member of the Green Bay Fun Club and enjoyed traveling with Carol and his friends in the club. Pat was an avid sports fan following all of the Wisconsin teams – the Bucks, Brewers, and of course the Packers. He especially loved hunting season and looked forward to the hunt every year.
Pat will be sadly missed by his wife of 45 years, Carol Derpinghaus; his children – Jeffrey and Therese Derpinghaus, Stepchildren – Jeff (Julie), Terry, Jay (Christine) and Jon (Jennifer) Rentmeester; grandchildren, Tara (Steve) Fabry, Shanna (Andrew) Delmarcelle, Jamie Hoffman, Jennifer (Alex) Grant, Lindsey, Rachel, Kenneth & Hailey Rentmeester; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Duesing; brother-in-law, Gary (Glorianne) Kunesh and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
In addition to his parents Pat was preceded in death by his two brothers and two sisters.
