Roger H. Martin, 75, Green Bay, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021. He was born on Jan. 26, 1946, in Green Bay to the late Carlton and Thelma (Sturdy) Martin. Roger graduated from Preble High School in 1964. He was enlisted with U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1969 as an engineman. Roger worked at Charmin/PG from 1967 to 1969, after which, he joined the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 298/400. Roger was a proud union member of over 50 years. He had a passion for HAM radio, operating under the call sign N9WVC. He also loved exploring computers, cooking and most importantly, spending time with family.
Roger will be deeply missed by his children, Becky (Dave) Holzem, Stacy (Ted) Kronschnabel and Nick (Bobbie) Martin; grandchildren, Justin Holzem, Rachel Holzem, T.J. Kronschnabel, Genevieve Kronschnabel, Elizabeth Kronschnabel, Emma Martin and Aiden Martin; great grandchild, Azaleah Bosch; brother-in-law, John Setzer; and many other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his grandmother, Orpha Sturdy, and siblings, Bonnie Setzer, Diane Martin and Carl H. Martin.
Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, with Dcn. Bill Burkel officiating the Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.Prokowall.com.
