Roger Pierquet

Roger J. Pierquet, 68, departed peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, after a brief illness. He was born on April 2, 1955, in Green Bay to Fern (Krueger) and Robert Pierquet. Roger graduated from Preble High School, Class of 1973, and later attend UW Green Bay and UW Platteville. He and his family established the former Woodside Country Club. Later, Roger owned and operated R and J Construction that built homes in northeastern Wisconsin for forty years. Roger shared a deep love for travel with his wife Jody, with Disney World and the coasts being among their favorite destinations. Roger was an avid golf enthusiast and enjoyed watching the Packers. He loved spending time with extended family, friends, and his cats.

Roger is survived by his wife Donna “Jody” Pierquet, his sisters and their families, Barbara Metzler (husband, James Metzler), and their three children Sally and David Cartwright (daughter, Natalie Cartwright), Melissa Metzler, and Daniel Metzler; Kathy Derozier, Lori Pierquet, and her two children, Ricky Maki (wife, Hope Maki, their children Mallorie Lohry. Violet Maki, and Benjamin Maki) and Deagan Maki (husband, Alex Schwartz).

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dick; and a brother-in-law, Dick Derozier.

He will be deeply missed by all who know him. His legacy of love, kindness, humor, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
