Rosella (Rosie, Rose) Ebben, 83, Green Bay, passed away on March 8, 2024. Rose was born on August 26, 1940, daughter of the late Lawrence and Irene (Alsteen) Jadin.
On April 29, 1961, Rose married Henry “Hank” Ebben at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Tonet, Wis. Rose graduated from Luxemburg High School in Luxemburg, Wis., in 1958, and worked as a bookkeeper at McDonald’s Lumber and later East River Lumber.
She loved dancing and enjoyed her time as a member of the Happy Hoppers Dance Club. She also enjoyed many train trips to the West Coast with her husband.
Rose is survived by her son, David, Green Bay; sisters, Betty (Lincoln) Pickard, San Diego, Calif.; Marilyn Kibilowski, Green Bay and brother, Larry (Shelly) Jadin. Rose is further survived by stepbrother, Denny (Pat) DeBouche, Crivitz; stepsisters, Kathy (Arlen) Wilson, Kansas City, Mo., Teri (Greg) Meyer, Rhinelander, Wis. Rose will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Laura Jadin; her husband Henry; brother-in-law, Walter Kibilowski; stepsister, Judy Melotte; and stepbrother-in-law, Roger Melotte.
In honor of Rose’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
The family extends their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Aurora at Home and the staff at Aurora Bay Care ICU for the care and compassion given to Rose and her family.
