Shantel Marie Konop, 35, received her crown on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. She was born November 18, 1985, in Green Bay to Michael Cumbers and Lisa Lincoln.

Shantel was a graduate of Green Bay East High School, Class of 2004. She also graduated from NWTC in 2014. On August 2, 2011, Shantel married Michael J. Konop in De Pere. Shantel enjoyed working in customer service at various hotels in the Green Bay area, and eventually began her own business, Heirloom Peddlers Homestead, which specialized in handcrafted soaps and body butters. She loved to spend her time gardening, cooking, educating herself about organic living, and being with her kids. Shantel will be remembered for being a very caring person, always being the thoughtful one, and a devoted and loving mother and wife.

Shantel is survived by her husband, Michael; her family, Isabella, Sawyer, and Garrett; her extended family, Michael (Kristine) Cumbers, Lisa Cumbers, Dan (Roz) Konop, Jane (Doug) Fontaine, Bree (Brandon) Munns, Kelsey Nelson, Alexis Cumbers, Amber Konop, Danielle Hannon, Jonathan Hannon; her best friend, Sara Beckers; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her prematurely born son, William; and Bryan Konop.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Friends may also call at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 120 S.
