Roger Reynen

Roger M. Reynen, 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born March 22, 1939, in Green Bay to Francis Reynen and Bernice (Reynen) Johnson.  He was a graduate of Preble High School.  On August 29, 1959, Roger married Gloria Samorske in Green Bay, WI.  Roger served in the U.S. Navy.  He was later employed with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.  After retiring from the Sheriff’s Department, Roger and Gloria moved to Crivitz where he co-founded Twin Bridge Rescue.  Together Roger and Gloria enjoyed wintering in Texas.  Roger was a very caring father and husband, taking amazing care of his wife in her later years.  He also loved spending time fishing, hunting, collecting eagles, gardening and was very well known for his Booyah.

Roger will be sadly missed by his children, Cindy (Mike) Wilson, Steve (Vicki) Reynen, Dave (Korre) Reynen and Cheri (Curt) Wainwright; grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Odom and special friend Kevin, Steffanie Van De Hei, Morgan Zimmerman, Jaida Reynen and Jonathan Wainwright; many great grandchildren; his mother, Bernice Johnson; siblings, Ron (Norma) Reynen and Karen Tilque; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria; father, Francis Reynen; siblings, Jim Reynen and Sally Reynen; and a brother-in-law, Lee Tilque.

Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, with a memorial service at 7:30 p.m.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.Prokowall.com.
