Theresa M. Hendricks, 88, Green Bay resident, died Thursday, February 8, 2024, at a local hospital. She was born May 16, 1935, in Niagara, Wisconsin to the late Roy and Rose (Canavera) Brown. Theresa graduated from Niagara High School in 1953. She was employed as an executive secretary at Tufco Industries until her retirement in 1998.

Theresa was always excited to watch her favorite teams play ball, whether it was the Packers, the Brewers or the Badgers. She never walked away from a card game and enjoyed crossword puzzles and board games. Theresa loved to travel with family and friends and was a voracious reader. As the years went on, she never lost her sense of humor or her quick wit. Theresa attended daily Mass at SS Peter and Paul and lived her faith every day. She volunteered her time and talents at St. Vincent DePaul, in the SS Peter and Paul rectory and was also a hospice volunteer for Unity Hospice.

She is survived by three children: Marty (Nancy) Hendricks, Eau Claire; Ann Luedeman (Troy Kyle), Bellevue and John (Julie) Hendricks, River Forest, IL; eight grandchildren: Chad and Ashley Hendricks (Adam Loomis); Emily and Blake Luedeman and his fiancé Natasha Gilmore; Jack, Anna, Will and Maria Hendricks; three great grandchildren, Kendall Hendricks, Talen Cudd and Brielle Loomis; one sister, Eloise Robinson, Neenah; in-laws: Joanne (Bob) Breister, Menasha; Jackie Van Pay, Green Bay; Karen (Lee) Bournoville, Sturgeon Bay; Ken (Jan) Hendricks; Janice Swoboda and David (Patti) Hendricks, all of Green Bay; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Sherman (Ronnie) Brown; sister, Shirley (Edgar) Aderman; four brothers-in-law: Jim Robinson; Gerald Hendricks; Jim Van Pay and Larry Swoboda; two sisters-in-law, Connie Hendricks and Joyce Hendricks; her former husband, William Hendricks.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. on Friday, February 16, from 5:00-7:00 pm. A parish wake service will close the evening at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 720 N. Baird St. from 9:30-10:15 am. Funeral Mass 10:30 am at the church with Rev. Bill Hoffman officiating. Burial in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the Hendricks family at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of floral expressions a memorial fund has been established in her name for Unity Hospice in Ledgeview.

Theresa’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff of Aurora Baycare Hospital as well as their hospice, for all the care and consideration given to Theresa and her family over the past few months.
