Victoria “Vicki” A. Hoell, 72, Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on September 25, 1951, in Green Bay to the late Fred and Alyce (Figi) Smith.  Vicki was a graduate of Preble High School.  She then attended UW-Eau Claire obtaining her degree in Special Education.  On June 21, 1975, she married Bill Hoell at First United Presbyterian Church in De Pere.  Vicki went on to work for the West De Pere School District for over 30 years in Special Education.  She worked with students who had E.D. and L.D. but many would say she was much more than a teacher.  Vicki helped many students with career readiness and work placement, helping these students achieve many goals that were once thought to be unobtainable.  Outside of work, Vicki ran and managed the Dorothy Rosenberg Goodwill Pantry at First United Methodist Church in Green Bay for many years.    Vicki was a voracious reader, and it was not uncommon for her to read an entire book in a day.  Vicki and Bill were each other’s everything.  They enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge and cribbage.  Vicki and Bill enjoyed traveling, especially their trip to Puerto Vallarta, where they enjoyed the amazing views at the restaurant, La Cappella. She was an extremely caring and loving person, which suited her perfectly for her next endeavor, being a grandmother.  Vicki was a grandmother extraordinaire, and words cannot begin to express the pride, love and joy she gave to her grandchildren.  She is greatly loved by her family and will be missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill; children, Jessica (Jerry) Anderson, Greg (Sarah) Hoell, and Allison (Tim) Newkirk; grandchildren, Leo Henry, Juliana Rose, Lily Aurora, Harrison George William, Taya Victoria Jean, and Tinsley Sarah Jessica; siblings, Fred (Dione) Smith, Dee (Don) Whinnery, and Doug (Charlie) Smith-Biggs; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Teri (Brian) Lett; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and two mothers-in-law, Bill, Lucille and Sally Hoell.
