William Arthur “Bill” Woodyatt, 87, Green Bay, died Thursday, February 29, 2024, at his home. He was born June 17, 1936, in Sterling, IL to the late Albert and Arlene (Wilson) Woodyatt,

Bill attended schools in Sterling, Illinois and following graduation from high school he enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps. He and proudly served from 1954 to 1956.  After his time in the service, Bill attended vocation school in Port Arthur, Texas where he studied electrical mechanics. For thirty years he worked as a maintenance electrician for Northwestern Steel & Wire in Illinois, until his retirement. Bill enjoyed spending his time with his family, and skiing, riding his motorcycle, bicycling, and going for runs with his friend, Pastor Sterzbach.

Bill is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay (Kreider) Woodyatt; his children, Wilma (Randy) Kloepping, Pearl City, IL, Amy (Scott) Sturtz, Morrison, IL, and Samuel Woodyatt, Oregon, IL, Brenda (Bob) Reuter, Ohio, IL, Dean Richards (Shelley) of Jacksonville, FL, Alva Richards, Adell, WI, Charles Richards (special friend Dawn), Wyanet, IL, Curtis (Jen) Richards, Baileyville, IL, and Elizabeth (Chris) Richards, Green Bay, WI; daughter-in-law, Tammy Woodyatt, Freeport. IL; 31 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Don (Holly) Woodyatt; sisters-in-law, Pat Calahan, Judith Brinkmeier, and Rosemary Cosgrove; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy; a daughter, Amy; a grandson, Dakota, a brother, Dan Woodyatt; a sister, Kay (Chuck) Lane, brothers-in-law, Noel Calahan, Jerald Brinkmeier, and Tom Cosgrove.

Friends may call at Lakeshore Baptist Church, 925 Marquette Drive, Kewaunee, on Monday, March 4th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev.
